He has the potential to just undo basically all of the damage and be celebrated but he’s not capable of making that connection because his mind is Swiss cheese (or his handlers won’t let him) so I expect the most realistic answer is if he kicks the bucket at this point.

One answer might be to remove all tariffs and roll back all restrictions on trade. It would reduce pressure and people would largely forget he caused the pain in the first place after things stabilize. He could be lauded for a universal healthcare plan. He could remove the military from our cities.
