I took a quick snap just to be a smartass, but the 3 ornaments in focus are actually a good microcosm of my decorating ethos. The star is from the dollar store. The colorful middle one is a painted gourd from our trip to San Diego in 2019, and the bell (1986) is a handmedown from my late grandma.
