📈Results from our 3B parameter model

How well can a small, open-weight language model succeed when using lightweight tools without huge infrastructure?

Our 3B model achieved near-frontier reasoning performance on synthetically generated health queries – and is small enough to run on a laptop.

The Telegraph has just published *yet another* correction to one of its net-zero articles.

By my count, that is now the TENTH such correction since Labour won the election (and covers 13 separate articles).

I have now added the latest one to my epic thread which is tracking these corrections...

"The office in Houston for example... is effectively without its top three management positions.

Other offices are struggling to maintain 24/7 operations. Experts with contacts at NOAA told the BBC of battles to get basic maintenance over the line, from computer systems to toilets."
Busy hurricane season expected as forecasters fear Trump cuts.
The warning comes as cuts to American research raise fears over the ability to track and prepare for them.

Prof Adam Sobey, at the UK’s Alan Turing Institute, an AI research body, said more transparency was needed on how much energy is consumed by artificial intelligence systems, and how much they could save by helping to make carbon-emitting industries such as transport and energy more efficient.

However, not sure how ML would handle predictions that are outside the global distribution of values
