Those grand buildings didn't belong to the Nazis. They just spray-painted their Swastika on top. Ironic, because the Swastika is also a stolen symbol, just like how they stole Norse Mythology.

Reminds me of a certain asshole who keeps appropriating achievements all because it makes him feel cool.

Of all the films I've watched, I think Downfall best captured the Nazi aesthetic for what it truly is.
The film doesn't do wide shots to build prestige. And all the locations clearly look older than the Nazi party itself.
Because the Nazis didn't build them, they just appropriated them.
