Hello! I have been an environmental advocate for decades, and have a few minor climate science qualifications.

I’m currently a sustainability executive for a financial institution, working on the company’s net zero transition plan and ESG ratings, plus climate science comms for our employees.

Yes, I’m also reassured by Sultana’s statement re transphobia.

I’m a member now, and I will definitely be casting a vote that a core policy or ideal will be “no transphobia”.

If the party does not go down that route, I will simply cancel my membership and go Green again.

Interesting. It does seem to be one transphobe, rather than a whole party of them, so perhaps over-egging it there.

However, I agree that for the party to stand by its ideals, it should be a party of NO transphobes.

I gave a talk this week on the vulnerability of UK institutions to a populist govt and I was told by an audience member that the US and Hungary couldn't happen here. I said it absolutely could and Reform are learning fast. The complacency is scary
