I'm saying this as someone who is by in large anti content warnings mostly because I know what I'm getting into when I buy the stuff I buy but when you just want to look at nonsense for about 20 minutes under the veneer that its real that's different entirely.

Like if I was to take all the gameplay out of Persona 5 I'm kind of left with a bad season of Riverdale TBH this isnt to knock P5 I think the game play tends to add a lot to the experience but gamers more then any other fandom dont like sitting with stuff that makes them uncomfortable enough.

While I don't think sophistication doesn't belong to indie games I think games like Expedition 33 and the Nier franchise show this I also think when it comes to stories alone we arnt getting anything better then a HBO show.

I think one of the reasons why I went for some of the older women in Persona 5 is that as a guy in his mid 20s playing these games its a lot less creepy to me then ogling underage women. Even if I totally get that teens are the target audience for these things.
