Well, @theonyxpath.bsky.social has now gotten me in trouble. In First Edition Pugmire, the Barool was only described, and I put them in an encounter for my family game. I just picked up the second edition which has art for the Barool and my wife is angry that I made her kill something so cute.

Before the pandemic, I had a family #Pugmire game going. Then I moved to running games online and ended up with Pathfinder 2e. Maybe it's because I lost two Good Dogs but I'm missing Pugmire; if this becomes a SoloRPG for my channel or an actual campaign remains to be seen.

As a hobby, I stream solo RPGs on Thursdays. This year, my stream's aesthetic is pink and blue, with the most current Inclusive Pride Flag clearly displayed.

I don't have much power over the current world, but I'm going to show love. (and donate to legal nonprofits.)

Two dachshunds - technically - sharing a clamshell bed. The one in the front is a miniature dachshund in a blue collar who seems very content. The one in the back is a standard dachshund who is not amused by this at all.

Having a Spooky Month for my Thursday stream - but so happy that in November I can come back with the card version of #mythicgme by @tanapigeonwmg.bsky.social! Yes, rolling dice is awesome but when I’m streaming there’s already so much on-screen to track… having the GME on the side will be great!

Not a controversial opinion, no matter what DC's editor in chief thinks. Journey Into Mystery issue 630, Oct 2011 (part of the Fear Itself storyline which was basically an entire storyline of "Nazis are bad, their only power is causing fear, and we need to stand against that.")
The Asgardian character, Volstagg the Vast, is telling a story to his children. Volstagg asks, "What do we say about Nazis, children?" Five children shout back, "Death to Nazis!" Volstagg responds, "That's right."

A section from the 2023 Paranoia rulebook regarding the game's currency (since Alpha Complex is a Utopia, nobody needs money, they can just use social currency - "Thank yous" aka XP Points - which completely coincidentally can be used as fiat currency. "A citizen with several thousand thankyous is likely trustworthy, whereas one with few XP Points is probably a traitorous bastard worthy of only scorn, derision and mild-to-moderate waterboarding. In other words, the rich can be trusted but the poor are always suspect. Great to see relaxing games that have nothing in common with the real world!"

Paranoia core rulebook by @mongoosepublishing.bsky.social - 2023. Why I backed this project's Kickstarter. A good thing to read two years later. "You can mock anything about society or politics except gender, sexual preference, race, or ethnicity; that bullshit isn't allowed."
A clip from the Core Rulebook of the game "Paranoia"; it reads: Paranoia has always been heavy on satire (not parody, there is a big difference). It mocks government, religion, business, capitalism, communism and a whole lot more. It can also get more specific in satire, such as mocking bro culture, anti-vaxxers and egghead intellectuals. Some people might find a sacred cow or two being satirised and get upset. However, Paranoia’s setting does not deal with gender, sexual preference, race or ethnicity. None of that matters to the game’s setting, so they should never appear at the table/screen.

Never forget.

The main character - who, in the story, is a normal human being with some necromancy training - is battling Wolverine and both appear to be trying to kill each other. In the top left corner, boxes say "Variant Edition", "Mature Content", and then in VERY small letters (which has been zoomed in on in a second box) "Wolverine does not appear in this issue."
