Before the pandemic, I had a family #Pugmire game going. Then I moved to running games online and ended up with Pathfinder 2e. Maybe it's because I lost two Good Dogs but I'm missing Pugmire; if this becomes a SoloRPG for my channel or an actual campaign remains to be seen.

Forget taking a sick day from work for a "mental health day"; I want to take a sick day because I wake up *not* feeling grief about my lost dog, about my lost country, about my inability to protect my trans family and friends... Just one day where I don't want to collapse. As a treat.

First two #solorpg streams of 2026 are scheduled, and I've recorded and edited the adverts/intro to the games. But all the video of the first game is half the volume of the second. Fortunately the problem areas don't show my face, so I can just re-record the audio. SlugPplGames deserves my best.

My wife and I haven't drank in two+ years, and my kiddo has no taste for it. She asked if we needed a bottle of the sparkling apple juice for New Years. This led to a discussion of how not drunk we wanted to be and ended with her suggesting ten bottles might get us "Whitein Sober."

I'm excited to say that, two weeks from tomorrow, I will be restarting my Thursday #solorpg streaming. I'm a lot less excited to have to figure out which one of the amazing games gets to christen the third year of the ScreamingWyvern stream. They're good solo rpgs, bront.

Even one was stupid. Playing at zero tolerance like a bad principal at an elementary school. When someone tortures you, and then they can’t anymore, you’re finally free to speak your mind and you deserved to.

You would think that a company that relies on algorithms, like TikTok does, would be able to figure out how to target advertisements. Repeatedly inviting me to go Live on their platform when they've blocked me every time for "unoriginal content" (you know, storytelling) is kinda bullcrap.

How to be a good GM:
Think creatively about the story your players will be encountering.
Prepare a reasonable amount; leave room for surprises.
Get a good sleep the night before and don't go into the game hungry.
Have a panic attack 10 minutes before game time.
Check to see if everyone had fun.

I think it's statistically impressive that, on an average of once per day, I see or read something that makes the #GoodPlace point system seem unrealistically optimistic. I think I lost a few million points reading a 2011 Captain America limited series thanks to an archer.
