I try to be rly visible & vocal when it comes to masking and it wrecks me every time I get responses from ppl who are thankful bc they feel so isolated and alone bc otherwise caring folks won’t do the bare minimum & wear a mask—reposted this old, but relevant read. Eleven more libraries will reopen on Sundays, thanks to the leadership of the City Council. They never should've been closed in the first place.

I think this is the most horrifying post I have ever read.

Community members have been gathering outside detention centers listing off names of missing loved ones as they’re given from family members on social media. They call them out using a megaphone to the center and look for waves in the day and lights at night.

Right! I mean I know it's just attention and validation they crave, but I don't need those things externally anymore, give me all the money!
