That's wild. Even in bird app's heyday, new accounts didn't gain big followers in a matter of days or weeks, unless you were SeInfeld- or Obama-famous. It still took some doing for non-celebs to see life.

I'm a comics creator. Every time I lead a workshop with kids, I see their absolute joy in drawing with their OWN HANDS. If you deny kids that joy by forcing them to type prompts into a computer, you're failing as an educator.
Shame on you for this.

Was literally scrolling down to type that. Tale as old as time; wasn't fresh even when Milton handled it (whilst nailing it in that perfect encapsulation of a sentence).

I recall old Twitter discussions that always strove to remind folks that Golden Age SF (and some post GA, eg Ender's Game) wasn't exactly an equity bastion anyway. The genre's always contained political multitudes.
