Starter packs are what got me going, too. Type "interest starter pack" (eg "archeology starter pack") in the bsky search to locate your kind of people!

That's wild. Even in bird app's heyday, new accounts didn't gain big followers in a matter of days or weeks, unless you were SeInfeld- or Obama-famous. It still took some doing for non-celebs to see life.

Fruitcakes, eccles cakes, mince pies, Christmas/plum puddings; I love them all.

I'm a comics creator. Every time I lead a workshop with kids, I see their absolute joy in drawing with their OWN HANDS. If you deny kids that joy by forcing them to type prompts into a computer, you're failing as an educator.

Shame on you for this.

Was literally scrolling down to type that. Tale as old as time; wasn't fresh even when Milton handled it (whilst nailing it in that perfect encapsulation of a sentence).

I recall old Twitter discussions that always strove to remind folks that Golden Age SF (and some post GA, eg Ender's Game) wasn't exactly an equity bastion anyway. The genre's always contained political multitudes.

That much is understood. Doesn’t hold up legally, though. No sedition here!

Right? They need a dictionary thrown at them.
