I stop reading every piece that begins by wondering if the Dems or Repubs are "winning" the shutdown.

Anything the Dems can do that has anything to do with governing is a win for all of us, including the Repubs, but esp the Dems.

This is a new world, the old one gone. Every day is a new reality.

if we are to put up some kind of resistance to our cyber-domination, shouldn't we invest in better writing tools bodied-intellects like us?

jason, i know about blogging api's, the microblog api is a reimplementation of something i developed in the early 00s. it works, but covers a small part of the functionality of a blogging system. what wordpress did is far in advance of that. and imho it will matter to writers.

Oregon National Guard Adjutant General, General Gronewold says if they are federalized, that he will advise the Title 10 commander to utilize National Guard Troops to PROTECT protesters at ICE facilities. This is the right answer.
