(cont.) actually going through what you & so many others went through but even as just a reader I was disgusted. The contrast alone was so jarring; I loved both of her webcomics but this was so egregious I unfollowed everything immediately. My tl;dr reaction was basically "wtfffffff *unfollow*"

Oh I hate those soooo much. I've only been to similarly mandatory ones and like I told my boyfriend "it makes me feel like a lame horse being appraised at a market". Incredibly dehumanizing and a big waste of time. Sorry you had to go through it!

I'll open a bazillion tabs when doing research/writing work but I *have* to get rid of all of them afterwards or I never rest. (Bookmarks exist for a reason!)

I asked my mother about this recently and she said it was also because of more limited fashion? Like the things you'd wear as a young adult were largely also what people in their 50s would wear so it made everyone look older, while now we have more variety in styles. Here in Greece at least 😅

The OP is such a deranged take! Personally, I enjoy both soft and hard magic stories equally when they're done artfully and organically. Hell, I've worked on WIPs of both types and they are so wildly different you just can't use one on the other without breaking the entire thing!

Ha...haha..... that amount per *week*?! That would literally be life-changing for me! (Minimum salary here in Greece is ~650 per month, after taxes - my rent is half that and it's considered extremely cheap right now).
