This is one of the earliest examples of what would become the American graphic novel format. My college printmaking teacher gave me a copy as a good luck gift when I moved to New York to start my career as an artist. Which, if you know the story of God's Man, is a pretty ironic gift.

Make comics. Actually make them and FINISH them and MOVE ON and make another one and another. Start small. Make a one panel comic. Make a one page comic. Make a two or three page comic. Make a five page comic. Now you've really learned something! Keep going.

Anyone can draw. Anyone. Yes, the person who is disabled can draw. Yes, you, who has only ever drawn as a preschooler. If you want to draw, you can get there, it's a skill and you have to dedicate time and effort to it, but you can learn.
