This is why it was always ok to not pretend to care that Charlie Kirk got shot in the fucking throat. It was all performative grifter outrage schtick.

It's going to be weird seeing all those flags at half-staff, all those states having "Rob Reiner Day", and all those new chapters of the American Foundation for Equal Rights on college campuses. And don't forget all those people losing their jobs for joking about it

What's that? Oh...

Ok, #filmsky, it's #LetterboxdFriday. Here are my #LastFourWatched

I can't in good conscience recommend Shredder but it does have two incredible visual gags for an early aughts DTV movie.

Not for any particular reason, the greatest Chris Bermanism of all-time is still "Jim 'I saw the silhouette on' Deshaies" and it's not even close.

Happy #LetterboxdFriday, #filmsky. I don't think I've ever put up all five-star films for my #LastFourWatched but I was eating good this Thanksgiving.

Good morning to Brazilian reporter Manuela Borges, who’s been waiting eleven years for this petty moment. ❤️ 🇧🇷

My eleven-year-old asked to watch the Joel Schumacher Phantom of the Opera movie and out of all the crazy shit that happens in it the one question she has had for me is "what does his horse eat?"

I am a citizen and so are majority of Somalis in America. Good luck celebrating a policy change that really doesn’t have much impact on the Somalis you love to hate. We are here to stay 💁🏽‍♀️

Hoping to hit 300 movies logged on #Letterboxd this year so my daughter doesn't have to reach for achievements at my eulogy.

If you want to understand how utterly contemptible Donald Trump is just know that Jeffrey Epstein felt very comfortable taking the moral high ground when talking about him.

I've recently been rewatching Galavant.

You know what was a great show? Galavant.

Unlike you, I can read and that’s why I know what the constitution says.
Trump on Ilhan Omar: "I look at somebody who comes from Somalia...and she comes in and tells us how to run our country. 'The Constitution says this, the Constitution says that.' The whole thing is crazy."

Okay #filmsky, here are my #LastFourWatched for #LetterboxdFriday. Of these I'd really recommend Blackout (Criterion Channel), an old Hammer noir directed by Terence Fisher, and Psychic Vision: Jaganrei (YouTube), a very early found footage faux documentary that runs under 50 mins.
