We double-cursed it! I'd say we should have started sooner but since the ratings don't work that way (and they weren't even that bad!) I think it's just a crappy system.

It seems like a lot of the smart shows aren't given a chance to grow. Most of the best ones didn't even hit their best stride until 10-15 episodes in. Now they'd just be canceled as "slow" and instead replaced with over the top drama. 😔

I feel like I jinxed it. I really wish they gave these shows a guaranteed set of eps to start. It's so ridiculous to get people invested and then dump shows over and over. Which makes less people watch in the long run because they're afraid they'll get canceled.
