Me, a discovery writer by nature, getting excited about my new book idea…wanting to try at least a skeleton outline before diving in, but not great at it…just has a bunch of bullet points labeled “feral thoughts” and it’s the most accurate description ever 😂

Some scenes are well-behaved…I’ve practiced them in my head…I know what they need to accomplish…some are feral…they have a basic shape, but they bite and scratch and I just have to learn what’s going to happen along with everyone else…

The real reason I want to write as a full-time career? So I no longer have to wipe my tears and put on a “brave face” in order to go into my “real job” without people knowing I was just emotionally wrecked and sobbing over fictional characters.
