I’ll take the banal, the bickering, the friction of a family that loves each other too intensely, gentle pisstaking and feigned offence, over any grand gesture or once in a lifetime experience you can offer me.

We will continue with the hard days, the absolute bastard that is poorly managed and misunderstood mental health conditions, the struggle with a collapsed CAMHS and a Govt that wants less support and diagnosis- but yesterday we were all together in boring, glorious normality. Just for two hours.
