this is continual on reddit r/BlueskySocial,

"I want in but I really don't wanna pay for it.

I really want in on this app, but I really don't wanna pay anyone else for a code and nor should anyone else. The app is free with the code and I'm not about to send money to a potential scammer."

I made my own feed (called Journalists & News Orgs) but it's only one of many good news feeds. (I made it because I really miss the ability to create lists.)

reposting as curious to read this later (bookmark) & valid in that seems interesting all of us
Hi! Wanna make a feed using the https://skyfeed.app/ tool?
Here's an easy way to get started.
Notes:
- In the builder tool, you won't see the feed on the right hand side until it has posts to show (ex. - you haven't tagged anything yet.) It still works!
- Might update a lil' slowly! Give it time.

wonder if anyone can stay there, beyond google staff or google visitors, because I might just try this for the fun of it (for the location, it is a ok price)
Thank you, sir, may I have another!
Google is “offering” workers the chance to pay the company $99 dollars a night to sleep where they work.

@gruber.foo or Apple is helpful, gets involved, and eventually offers, in friendly gesture take X (Twitter) away from Musk, so he can be rid of the disaster it is, https://daringfireball.net/2023/08/fly_on_the_wall_musk_cook
, also, Elon names Cook, so his fans will attack

serious agree with you. also, feed can be promoted in an actually post, & pinned from there (as i just found & did further down this conversation) subject of horror movies. will i like it? likely not, horror not my thing, yet who cares, can unpin later, makes it easy to experience new

i asked about process, got this interesting answer
It's still a developing process but first I paint it in watercolor, then transfer the line work to fabric. From there I usually stitch from the middle outwards. Lack of planning ahead usually means I'm hopping around constantly

post.news ? ok we have bluesky, twitter-X, threads, mastodon, & so many more… anyone dive into post.news? experience, thoughts? vs medium. i'm tempted to ignore

how do we write a multi part post? the style of tweets, 1 of 3, 2 of 3 … that people hand built & then became built in?

my experiments and looking, write one post, & then put other parts on that post. should then read in order & be in bundle

& not have anyone get in middle

correct?

have invites? USE THEM. many want in, & seems Bluesky not give invites from sign up list.

if we all gave invites, Bluesky grow much faster than is

already asked friends family work? try strangers on reddit or such,

guy selling, made $30,000 we don't need that reputation

give free

tried signup WeChat, needs me connect with 6 month account. annoying, until i remember twitter gets thousands, millions? fake accounts a day. i assume all these social networks get similar. my point? the careful slow invite of Bluesky is likely essential not drown in bot fake spam accounts
July 29, 2023 at 3:52 PM
if we get invite code every week ( or 2 weeks?) , then in theory bluesky should double every 2 weeks. that is not happening. & people on reddit ( just one location ) really want in. also, those that signed up invite last year, waiting for anything, so …
