First time using a real tree in a long time. I have a billboard that was getting overgrown, this guy had to go anyways so I gave him a good home. It's a little thin, we only used about half as many ornaments as we normally would.

I love winter when work is slow and I can just cruise around in my plow and help clear anyone's driveway who looks miserable enough. I think I've knocked out 15 today at least

My business gets paid in cash and it's a huge pain in the ass. It's a security risk, extra steps in bookkeeping, annoying to have to visit the bank every few days, but the worst part is THE BANK CHARGES A FEE TO DEPOSIT CASH. I hate them for it. And it's double if I do it in person with a teller

Worked 10 hours (with a break for hockey at lunch), came home and started tearing out my cabinets to fit my new fridge that's coming next week.
Gonna skip my afternoon nap to hang out with my kids until my 2nd hour of hockey tonight.

My fridge died a few days ago, it's 2 weeks until my new one is in. Instead of picking up a used one or buying a mini, I trimmed down my cold goods to one cooler with ice.
I could easily afford to solve this problem, but my kids' lives are already too easy, I want them to know some struggle

Went camping, decided to try making a lasagna directly on the fire. Turned out way better than expected and gave my 6 year old practice maintaining a good fire
