Been thinking of Rob Reiner a lot recently. What a wonderful man. Just listened to "As you wish" audiobook by Cary Elwes. Rob is also one of the directors on my quilt in progress. I put him next to Mel Brooks #PrincessBride

Pretty happy with how the quilting on my cow is turning out. The back was pieced as I didn't have enough fabric & it looks great too! #quiltsky

What a difference 24 hours & 1 year make! Yesterday my dad was intubated in ICU & I wasn't sure he'd survive -> Tonight he's awake, off the vent, we got to talk & I held his hand. Last year I was sick w/Covid, isolated in the basement & devastated by the election. Tonight there's #hope. #bluewave 🌊

Kiddo came home last week with a quilt panel from teacher who would like a lap quilt. It had rusty holes from tacks, needed some fixing but managed to get it done in a week. Prewashed it as it's going to the classroom. Now back to my own projects & procrastinating hemming her school pants.
