The argument that guns don’t kill people doesn’t wash with me. It’s like saying knives don’t cut.

Of course it’s a tool: a tool used by people to do something.

Try cutting steak without a knife. Can you do it? Maybe, but it’s going to be a lot more difficult and you’ll be a lot less successful.

1. The National Weather Service vacancy rate at its Texas offices doubled since Trump took office.
