When we make it unnecessarily harder for people to get work, families struggle and our economy is weaker.

Our Expungement Reform Act fixes that by clearing outdated records for people who’ve done everything we've asked of them so they can work, provide for their families, and build a better future.
If you've done the work to turn your life around, you shouldn’t be held back by old records that are keeping you from getting a good job or housing.

The Expungement Reform Act clears the way for people to work, support their families, and contribute to our economy. www.youtube.com/shorts/jgX1r...

The country can still recover from this… However, the recovery will require us all to be uncomfortable, open to acceptance of ways of life that we don’t understand, and sustained galvanized efforts around basic human rights, aside from any party affiliation.

The Stoic Marcus Aurelius said, “the impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.” The obstacles that we face, the moments of intensity, it's within this experience where we unlock the very things that we seek.

This #BlackHistoryMonth, we honor the great Freddie Hubbard—an iconic jazz trumpeter born in Indianapolis in 1938,. Known for his bold sound, he shaped modern jazz with albums like “Red Clay” and “First Light”. A Grammy winner and NEA Jazz Master, his legacy inspires! #JazzSky #FreddieHubbard

Today, Maryland is safer and more competitive than it was two years ago when we took office.

But there is still much more to do. Together, we will continue to build a stronger state for every Marylander.

This platform seems ideal for artists. I’m already seeing the difference in the curation and thoughtfulness. I’m curious how their artists feel about this? Any thoughts are welcome here.

True. I would say even more: the DEI Executive Order (like SCOTUS) turns the law on its head & makes it the policy of the US government to reverse all compliance with Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act & government orders based on EEOC Guidance regarding Title VII. #lawlesspresidency
We should be clear that the language in the anti “DEI” executive order and the subsequent letter sent to federal employees to turn in colleagues who try to “disguise” DEI under other names means hires and promotions of Black and other POC will be deemed suspicious. www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...
