panoramish shot (I caught maybe 93% of it) of my micro-mini-boutique in my artist studio warehouse. From yesterday's open studio, which was LOVELY but now I'd like to sleep for three days please.
My display space is a 10x12 studio in an old warehouse. This is a panoramic shot of almost the whole thing - a gray wall full of shelves and hooks holding my paintings, scarves, hats plus a very large mirror, another side with a peacock-turquoise curtain with a rack of dyed clothes, above which I've spelled out "this is not tie dye" in yellow pipe cleaners (it's dyed, not tie-dyed, and not hippie-ish), a hand-painted treated wall in oranges, ochres and earthy pink with a rack of mostly black clothes and a handful of paintings that mostly match the wall, then another gray wall and a peek into the tiny dressing space.

My one leaving-the-house appointment got cancelled, so I have the thrill of getting out of something (even though I wanted to do it) AND I can stay home in my pajamas all day and sew things for next week's open studio.
A dress form in my work space is wearing a black canvas jacket with cream piping trim, and there is a pile of black, white and silver canvas bags hanging on it. Another dress form in teh fuzzy background has a black detachable collar draped around its neck.

Mike has taken to calling Jimmy "Mr. Cushions" which is funny enough, but he just called him "Sourdough Cushions" and I can't stop laughing.

I work in a big warehouse full of artists in Syracuse NY and our open studio event is December 6th. It's a great space. I'm building one-of-a-kind improvised clothes and paintings. That's what I do.

I had to block him first. I'm furious at how insulting it is to suggest that following a worldwide child sex trafficking ring involving the most powerful people in the world is some kind of GOTCHA to the "other side."

Also wanting it to matter and being surprised by it are 2 different things.
Will Stancil post: Also, very funny how the Dems keep trying to do this "release the Epstein files!" thing as a naked base pander in mimcry of the other side's conspiratorial muckraking, and then the files actually do get released, and it's like "oh wait Trump really is all over these things, he really did it huh"

Instead of making the third one even larger than the 1st and 2nd I've got a reasonable one brewing back there. When I build clothes I mostly improvise but bags are not as open to that, so I drafted patterns for these as I made them. And by "drafted patterns" I mean "traced a shape on kraft paper."

Our loaf is square.
The lemon loaf just came out of the oven and is on top of a black cast iron grill on our stove. It's in a square white pyrex pan with a green floral flourish on the side.
