Sounds familiar, even as a pure amateur at some point I started putting this insane pressure on myself. Like every frame had to be postcard-perfect or meant for a photobook. It sucked out at lot of the fun and definitely didn't make me a better photographer. No taking chances, just safe same old.

Rossmann 100 (rebranded Fujicolor) expired in 2006 - not bad at all. And this was rated at 64 ISO so didn't even need a ton of compensation.

My first thought was Kodak. But they use the Color Negative name for those rebrands and all the LomoChrome films were derived from Orwo, so this could be the new NC200. We just need to see if the box says "made in Germany"...

This is why I bought the Minolta 70-210. If I want to photograph the mines while they're still here, in a lot of cases the best way to do that is to climb somewhere high and use a big ol' zoom.

🤡 🇩🇪 Ex-Chancellor Merkel in a Hungarian Interview: ‘Poland & Baltics bear blame for breakdown of our relations with Russia.’ 🧐

Well, there it is again - the ‘Berlin syndrome‘ of blaming Eastern European ex-colonies of Russia for the Russian wars of aggression rears its ugly head. Sad to see this.
Brisantes Interview: Merkel gibt Polen Mitschuld an Putins Krieg
Angela Merkel gibt Polen und baltischen Staaten Mitschuld am Abbruch der diplomatischen Beziehungen mit Russland und Ukraine-Krieg.

This will be... interesting.I doubt I'll be able to fully repair it but at least it's a cool collectible.

Ilford Ilfocolor 400 - I'm not impressed. Almost certainly another Orwo rebrand but somehow it was the worst roll I've had from those films. A few frames that look almost decent and a whole lot of meh.

Developing some 90s Fomapan today. Better branding than they have right now if you ask me.

I wonder what the likes of Altman etc will do when presented with realistic fakes of themselves doing/saying all sorts of heinous things. Cause it absolutely should happen.

IIRC they're still in a legal battle over the rights to use the Orwo name.

It's very intriguing. At this point I have probably more faith in Eastman than Alaris...

Sign me up. They're already making the emulsion, how hard can it be to package it for photography?

Same with Ultramax 800. They make it but it's only sold in disposables and as Lomo 800. I bet it would be hugely popular in today's market, it's like they don't want to make money.
sednoid.bsky.social
It's a pretty common assumption. Another option is that the Kodacolor 100 is the emulsion they're using for Lomo CN 100.
