I forgot a word, and spent a few minutes waiting for breakfast to pop up, thinking, "a sheet of toast. A *sheet* of toast? A SHEET. Of TOAST."
Also, a nice old lady said she liked my mask in a queue outside a pharmacy. I returned the compliment & we did a few "catalogue poses" at each other...

Then ignore their protestations, legislate comprehensively to block & prevent outside influence over anyone's healthcare, and to close any loopholes that might be exploited by forced-birth evangelists.

It's evolved so quickly from "bad slideshows, or that awful tiktok-style voiceover" to "whole channels getting automated, & some users cloning their own voice to churn out faster content."
But sometimes a generated voice still "reads" a script typo, or spells out roman numerals in a movie title...

Unless you build an audience off the back of a free service, then monetize that with ads/sponsors, until you're in a position to join Nebula & shut away some of your work behind its paywall. That walled garden is OK.

The irony isn't lost on me. @12tone.nebula.tv saying "a subscription to what? You are a link shortener" could easily be countered with "Nebula dot TV... a subscription to what? You are a youtube channel," deliberately ignoring the fact that both have, as a bare minimum, overhead costs...

If you have direct links, the URL instantly tells you if it's a newspaper, uni, corporation, blog etc.

Since Google decided to kill all of their shortened links, it seems a bit silly to trust any smaller entity (in other words, *any* entity) to be able to preserve your links & provide a service indefinitely.

First time I listened to Passion Pit's "Manners," it was during a long wait in a cancer clinic, while a loved one was being seen.
I played it bc Sleepyhead was on LBP's trailer, but then I properly heard that song's lyrics. The whole album gives me cognitive dissonance, both upbeat & heartbreaking.
