He’s a piano carrier for a good side & could be brilliant at it if he put his mind to it but he seems to think he’s a luxury player that doesn’t need to do the dirty work.

He’s so frustrating. That last 20 I thought he’d been subbed and I missed it. He’s got enough ability that if he showed up could actually take massive pressure off us, just felt like jones was on his own in midfield for most of that second half

I’m unmoved by Semenyo, he’s obviously a decent player & with a profile/skillset we need but feels a bit of a band aid signing

Think if he did occasionally link with Kerkez it would help massively currently he just feels so predictable opposition just double bank that inside channel so he’s turning and shooting into a wall. If he used Kerkez it’s going to draw players away, give him more space To work in.

This is the heart of why we follow if it doesn’t make you feel something what is the point. At least you can see when you may have made a judgement from emotion & can rethink it too many want to double down instead

Fair, I largely avoid posting immediately after a game because too often this year I think we should sack everyone, shoot them all into the sun and start again. Takes me a day or so to be rational again. Another Solid performance against BHA and maybe we can put this run behind us new year new start

We have to build from something & the confidence has looked so low I can see why just not getting beaten is a place to start. Hopefully we can start to see some attacking connections soon.

If we are to keep Slot I’d want to see a strong finish to the season and positive trend line regarding underlying numbers. Would like to see some more positive attacking football too,

I think criticism is valid I’m not sure where I stand regarding Slot hes been poor this season & they’re were certainly warning trends last season but a difficult set of circumstances. A lack of good alternatives probably pushes me towards sticking.

Obviously not an easy thing to do but if Slot could have got the new lads to fit around Mo for the 1st half season get some points on the board, then when he’s at AFCON tell them keys are theirs time to step up, tell them to make sure he’s got to fight his way back into the team when he comes back.

Do my best to be level headed, fully understand anyone having a rant its been a shocking season but some of social media pile ons can be pretty nasty.

Hoping the new players could just try to fit within it despite some fairly different profiles. Clearly hasn’t worked but I do think that the tragedy has really shaped the season in many ways and remains a huge caveat on any criticism we have of players or management.

I agree, I could see however that maybe the death of Diogo disrupted the preseason possibly made it difficult to introduce new tactic/formations while the players were still experiencing grief, perhaps Slot thought it best to just stick with what was known from last year 1/

I’m still of the opinion Mo is our best attacking weapon & we should have started the season using him in a way that best took advantage of this. Then use AFCON to pivot to a different system using Salah more for rotation and impact when he comes back.

Thanks very interesting .Do you have n shots and shots On T %. This is were I feel like Gakpo has been poor, Mo has definitely dropped in both number and quality but to the eye Cody seems to have a lot of poor quality shots.

Is there a way to measure this for efficiency because I feel like he is seeing a lot of the ball but isn’t converting that at a rate that we would ideally want. Think the negativity towards him is a little overstated however.

Agreed leaves us very open to “luck” which we seem to be very short on. I’d rather be 3 nil up so when one bounces of Virgil’s ass into top corner on 83min we can laugh at it instead of shitting ourselves

I think getting Kerkez, Frimpong & Bradley fit & involved will help. Maybe a couple of dull low event wins no major errors, just a platform to build confidence & hopefully some attacking ambition

Any chance I could distract from the melodrama & ask for your thoughts on the 4D2 set up & its viability within the current game. I liked thought it suited the profile of player we’ve recruited recently. Would like to see it with Wirtz & the new FB’s or Bradley. Press still needs some work.
