Maybe a wordless or mostly wordless point-and-click adventure game would be good? As far as I'm aware, anything by Amanita Design (Chuchel, Pilgrims, Samorost, etc) would fit and their puzzles are generally on the lighter side.

I finished Ender Magnolia. I like the story in Lilies a bit more, but I like the changes Magnolia made to the combat system and I think Magnolia is the stronger game overall. Both of them are fantastic though.
