Spot-gloss effects are WILD and simple to make! A solid black silhouette or B&W gradient from ~50% ─ 100% is all that's required. Same with opaque white!
And yes, I can print on top of spot-gloss to create color ~raised "2.5D" effects~ (not pictured here).

Okay, so my basic training on this machine was so basic, that I'm left with huge machines that I still have not the slightest clue how to control.
The dude RACED through everything, tapping, clicking everything 🙃 BUT, he printed one spot-gloss sample! I've absolutely 0 clue how to replicate it.

It's so interesting to believe how this thing is responsible for perfectly placing all that ink. If you ordered stickers or prints from me in the past year, they came out of this! Each column sprays one unique color.

Print head failed already??? It was just doing a super A+ job! Barely over a year out of this one, with maintenance and all. Replacement ordered. Not the way I was hoping to wrap up the year. These giclée heads aren't cheap!!

I got these new really nice stainless steel bone dog tags in and have been testing various settings to get the perfect surface etching. I love how thick and shiny these tags are!! That paw-punch-out is a bit annoying, be it also cute.

The other week, I had water dripping from the ceiling of the garage which shouldn't happen in a 2-story house where it hardly rains. Thankfully, the repair wasn't too painful.. but the scare certainly was! Thank the heavens for renting!
