As attorney general, I'd hold ICE and ICE officers accountable, including by prosecuting ICE agents that violate our rights. It was an honor to be out there on Sunday with people across Colorado standing shoulder to shoulder to fight back. Abolish ICE.

I’m running for Colorado Attorney General to stand up for the people of Colorado—including holding ICE officers accountable when they break the law. Thankful to join so many others outside the ICE Denver Field Office today.

Acquiescing to Trump is a dangerous fool’s errand.

THIS go-along-to-get-along politics is exactly why I’m running for the US Senate.

David would be the best Attorney General Colorado has ever had.

Prosecute ICE.
Trump's mass deportation raids have led to violent confrontations across the US. Today, a woman originally from Colorado was killed in Minneapolis. Witnesses say she was trying to comply with conflicting orders from agents. The Trump administration calls her a domestic terrorist.

Estoy pensando en la familia de Renee Nicole y las familias mirando lo que esta pasando preguntándose si sus seres queridos serán objeto de persecución por su aspecto, por su forma de hablar o simplemente por estar en la calle donde está presente el ICE.

Under Colorado law it's illegal for a government official, including a federal official, to "speculate or wager on the basis of . . . information" they have access to "in their official capacity," which "has not been made public." Colo. Rev. Stat. 18-8-402(b). /1
An anonymous Polymarket user made $400,000 on prediction markets for Venezuela on Saturday and may have had insider knowledge before the market resolved. @emmarjanssen.bsky.social reports on insider trading in prediction markets and fears over policy:

Monetizing Regime Change - The American Prospect
It is trivially easy for administration officials to use prediction markets to bet on the policies they authorize. We may have just seen it in Venezuela.

We can fight for a better and brighter future--one where the law works for ordinary people. And we can make it happen in 2026. But I need your help. Please donate today at the link in my bio. Happy New Year!

It's not that complicated. When ICE agents break the law, they should be prosecuted under the law. Grateful to be interviewed in this important piece by @felipedlh.bsky.social alongside Zephyr Teachout.

Amazon is breaking the law. We need the courage to take on monopolies like Amazon when they violate our rights. An AG can do that. #copolitics #amazon #union #monopoly

Telluride is refusing to pay ski patrollers about $30 per hour, but the daily lift ticket over the holiday week is about $330. Something is broken in ski country. It doesn't need to be this way. As attorney general, I'd fight back.

Right now, tens of thousands of delivery drivers are peeing in bottles to meet quotas for one of the most powerful corporations in the world, so others can get boxes of stuff that only seems cheap because the same corporation crushed competitors and algorithms manipulate its prices. /1

The appointments of Sam Levine and Julie Su—two visionary leaders—are terrific. They reflect a clear understanding that if government is going to deliver for working people, strong, fearless enforcement of the laws against corporate abuse has to be at the center of the project.
Welcome to A New Era, Samuel Levine!

Colorado’s river access is among the worst in the West. Special interests and billionaires have tried to turn it into a “third rail” of Colorado politics to protect their power, but I’m running for Attorney General to put the law on the side of everyday Coloradans.
