We’ve known there must be reforms to how Civil Process Offices work under each of Massachusetts’ 14 sheriffs for quite some time now – I’ve been introducing a bill in one form or another making changes to these offices to enhance transparency and fiscal oversight since 2013.

It's pretty simple: if a child can't see, they can't learn. I introduced a bill expanding eye exams in Massachusetts schools because the earlier you catch vision problems, the easier they are to treat.

It has been 26 years since six brave firefighters lost their lives in the Worcester Cold Storage and Warehouse Co fire.

Lt. Spencer, Lt. Lyons, Firefighter Jackson, Firefighter Brotherton, Firefighter Lucey, and Firefighter McGuirk — may their memories be a blessing.

Yesterday's Veterans Inc. Holiday Harvest was great! Veterans Inc and its volunteers helped provide free Thanksgiving dinners to more than 700 military families in the Worcester area — a token of gratitude for their service to this nation.

It was a pleasure to celebrate National Adoption Day at the Worcester County Juvenile Court, where 46 children officially became members of 34 families. Every child is worthy of a home — witnessing these sweet moments is a reminder to all of us of the importance of family and unconditional love.

Today, I testified before the Joint Committee on Housing in support of my bill banning AI rent setting, S.1016.

AI-powered price fixing is still price fixing. My bill, if passed, would update our laws to ensure landlords face consequences for coordinating rent hikes through algorithms.
