Back to a sci-fi novel with my current read; really interesting setting and characters so far!

I'm still reading a bit of Rakesfall on the weekends, but I'm still getting myself used to sitting down to read a physical copy for more than a few minutes 😅 Up next I've FINALLY started one I'm sooo excited for!

I finished book number 4 for the year last week! The latest Halo novel. I've enjoyed most of Kelly Gay's books in the series, but this one was..okay.. I'm sure she had more plot constraints than usual since the point of this book is to wrap up the unfinished story of the last game

I missed out on a lot of good debuts in '21 so my next three books are all from that year! The first of which is The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri

I'm going with a sci-fi story for my next audio book, another novella-length one. I haven't read the first in the Binti series since 2019, buuut I've survived longer gaps between sequels lol

Starting off the year with two fantasy books I've been really looking forward to! It's been a couple years since I've read a physical book but I'm hoping to set aside time each of my days off this month and finish Rakesfall by the end of it. Might make this a thread for liveblogging my progress

I managed to finish 30 books this year 🤓 I'm gonna try to do a reading challenge with my friends in 2026. Maybe I can beat my record of 119 in one year??

MC is a woman with an affinity for communicating with non-humans. Human eugenics has lead to her being one of the last autistic people. I've never related to a protagonist as much as I have to Xandri, and this book helped me discover a lot about myself.

I've been meaning to start using my letterboxd account 😅 it's bare rn but I have watched a lot of movies recently

For reference, D tier for me is "wouldn't go out of my way to eat", while S tier is reserved for fruit with not only the best flavor but also requiring no effort (i.e. peeling) to eat !!

Lots of unlisted fruit I would add to A tier btw like Casaba and Crenshaw melons, prickly pear, honeycrisp
