Lots of plot decisions just left me shaking my head, tho. And nothing really felt surprising because the story just keeps reiterating "this is what's gonna happen next". A lot more telling than showing.

I finished book number 4 for the year last week! The latest Halo novel. I've enjoyed most of Kelly Gay's books in the series, but this one was..okay.. I'm sure she had more plot constraints than usual since the point of this book is to wrap up the unfinished story of the last game
