If they want to wear masks, should we wear masks too?

Hey congress: if you’d like to do something good. Change the law that allows DHS to have immigration checkpoints within 100 miles of a border. Stop them at the border crossing, or find them via legal methods that don’t infringe on our 4th amendment rights.

I’ve had friends and family say they plan to move to another country if MAGA takes control of the elections. My question to them is: “if we let MAGA do that, what will the rest of the world look like in a few years?” Stay and resist > flee.

I don’t always agree with the Catholic Church, but this is worth sharing from today’s NYT:

When an occupying force enters new territory, they usually bring their own shelter, fuel, and food supplies. So forgive me if I don’t care that you can’t get gas or sleep or a nice meal at the local diner; if you didn’t plan properly for your little invasion, that’s not our fault.

Starting to feel like Trump admin has tipped the scale. They realize they may not win elections, so are preparing to hold onto power regardless.

It shouldn’t even matter if you agree with Trump policies or not. What should have all of us terrified is the entire administration rushing to the tv cameras to lie & throw away the 1st, 2nd, and 4th amendments before simply saying “yeah, maybe those agents shouldn’t have shot those people.”

Ok. I guess my line was crossed now. So I’ll risk losing friends, family and career to say:

I don’t think the Federal government should have the right to shoot and kill me for legally carrying a weapon while peacefully protesting and video taping, and then lie about it all the way up to the prez.
