I read the judgement But am I right to think this part (that the BBC picked up on) is just awful? Surely the rights of a minority group should never be based on how many are bigots in the majority?

Leia was on the waiting list for 2 years and 10 months before "all hope began to fade".
Streeting has just told 1000's of trans kids that there is no hope any longer of them ever getting "the necessary preventative treatment", no matter how long they wait.

This is the part that worries me the most. Previously, trans kids had the possibility of the trial in their futures, even if it is extremely unethical and coercive.
Now, even that sliver of hope has been taken from 1000's of them.
I truly fear for the safety of those who have been left behind.

Even in her death the BBC cannot bring themselves to name or gender her correctly, continuously using only her surname or neutral pronouns.
Compare this to another article I randomly brought up, every person getting a proper title and pronouns.
They are such transphobic ghouls.

I think it's all fine. Just adding a little key (like this one for initial wait time) would likely be more than enough to clear up any confusion.

They've gone further than even the Tories of 5-10 years ago.
Under Cameron/May we were warning LGBT travelers going to the US. Under Starmer we have segregation that those states could have only dreamed of at the time.
And the horrors they're inflicting on trans youth are unforgivable.

This is interesting. Unsurprisingly it is generally the older generation that is more favourable to Labour.
Though this also feels like the weightings are off. It feels like the number of 18-24 year olds sampled is too low.

An interesting read but didn't we already know a lot of this already. I mean isn't this a part of the reason we take HRT to begin with.
I guess it's nice to have it confirmed but to find it "remarkable" seems a bit strange.

I was wondering why someone like him wasn't investigating the scandal that is this Government causing the deaths of trans teens. Turns out he just read a few GC books and is now a frothing GC too, spouting their same lies.
