Paramount:
-Ellison still unproven as CEO of a major studio.
-Too much media consolidation for the Ellisons.
-Ties with Trump can be a bad influence.
-More overlap than Netflix, meaning more layoffs.
-Still reducing creative choice in the industry.

Meeting lovable characters is nice and all. But I’d say the best meet-and-greets are the assholes. Those who have an excuse to be mean. Like the Evil Queen, Megatron and your example of The Grinch.

-Paramount: Run by unproven leadership and most-likely corrupt by the government.

-Netflix: You already know.

-Comcast: It’ll just be another Disney-Fox. And I don’t think people want another Disney-Fox.

I thought about Comcast too because of theme parks. But in truth, I feel like none of the three of these bids just are good for the industry. They’re all bad one way or another.

I’ll be guilty to admit I had a preferred buyer. But that was only if they HAD to sell. I really wished Hollywood didn’t have to be compared to Big Tech for Wall Street. Greed is messing up the industry.

P.S. DC

Most-likely scenario, DC Studios will remain intact. Gunn and Safran will remain heads and their plans will continue. No, they’re not going to revive the Snyderverse. That’s a delusional thought.

5.) Misc.

-I hope Netflix will collaborate with Universal for easier access with theme park rights. Netflix has experiences but no dedicated theme parks.
-Netflix gets a big studio lot.
-Curious about WB Games as Netflix has mixed results with gaming.

4.) Cable Networks

It’s clear Netflix has no interest in the networks. CNN, TNT Sports and others are not included in the deal. Curious who will get them. Nexstar? The upcoming Versant? Paramount? Hopefully not Paramount.

3.) Physical Media

Netflix is an occasional physical media participant. But it depends on the circumstances. Maybe owning a home entertainment division can help with that. At least I hope.

2.) HBO Max

I can imagine a possibility where Netflix won’t be able to keep HBO Max forever. Killing it will cause issues. They could sell it. But unless if it includes the HBO and Max library, the value for it is questionable.

1.) Theatrical

We know Netflix for the most part hates theaters. Now this could go either way. This could be an excuse for Netflix to embrace the theatrical market post-contracted film. How long will the windows be? Or not. The latter scares me.
