I’m going to lay the possible cons for each current bidder of WB.

Netflix:
-“Consumer-friendly” theatrical windows.
-Could harm residuals for union workers.
-Will become unstoppable with streaming.
-Will they commit to physical media?
-Only IP for WB post-2029?

I imagine Universal Orlando’s future being like:
-Revivals of BttF, Jaws, and GB
-F&F coaster
-Wicked stuff
-FNAF dark ride
-Another Potter ride
-More Nintendo
-DC Comics, apparently

I haven't worked since the beginning of this year. My last union job was on the Porky/Daffy movie back in late'22/early'23. For someone like me who spent most of my relatively short animation career both feeling like I'm only good if I'm useful and giving my all to this industry, the news sucks.---

The bid between Paramount and Netflix for WB really felt like a choice between sawing off an arm or sawing off a leg. Guess we’re gonna be sawing off a leg.

Oh boy. If the deal manages to get finalized, I’m going to have a lot to say. To say it now, here we go.
Netflix has won the bidding war to purchase Warner Bros. Discovery.

The sale is not yet finalized, as the U.S. Department of Justice could also interfere due to anti-trust concerns.

Between Paramount and Netflix, I’m just… scared by the end result.
Netflix’s new bid to buy Warner Bros is a mostly cash offer.

The company is arranging a mega-loan to be able to buy WB

If there’s two Sonic characters that would succeed with a spin-off film than a tv show, it’s Shadow and Wade Whipple.

How often do you need to get a COVID booster shot? I received one last year. I know you get flu shots annually.

As of lately, I’ve had a bit of an obsession with Avril Lavigne song Sk8er Boi.

Also this is a constant reminder that she was in Over the Hedge.

AAAA WOW this is my first TV credit! Thank you to Zach Hadel, Michael Cusack, and Aron Fromm for inviting me on this amazing show to design SQUIM! 🤗
I've always had a passion for designing characters for fun ever since I was a kid! It truly meant a lot to contribute a character to Smiling Friends!

The fact that we have to go through another Warner Bros M&A is insanity. But if it HAS to happen, I guess Comcast is the least of the three evils.
