This is what state-regime media looks like.

CBS News ran a segment gushing over Rubio — calling this his “moment" and saying: “Florida, once an American punchline, has become a leader on the world stage. Marco Rubio, we salute you! You are the ultimate Florida Man!”

I hope everyone realizes that at a remove of even six feet from this NYT excerpt, this is one of the weirdest NYT excerpts of this century

The United States is behaving like a rogue state. The President has carried out an illegal act of war, kidnapped a foreign head of state, and is now threatening military action against NATO allies. This is a constitutional crisis.

Impeachment must be on the table.

Samuel Alito flew two flags used by insurrectionists.

Clarence Thomas' wife plotted to overturn the 2020 election.

Both justices refused to recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases related to the January 6th plot.

It's a stain on our nation that this has effectively been forgotten.

Some people run for Congress because they want to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Others run because investing and trading stocks in the companies Congress regulates and takes donations from can make a positive impact on their wealth.

Ban Congressional stock trading.

If Trump and his administration are no longer going to pretend that we’re still a functioning Democracy, then you are under no obligation to either.

The first step in fighting back against authoritarianism is having the courage to call it what it is.

Good fucking morning to everyone except the big oil execs who got Trump to invade Venezuela for their oil. Amazing how there’s always money to attack other countries for corporate donors, but nothing to make sure people don’t go bankrupt when they get sick.

Rubio is claiming that they did not need Congress permission because it was a law enforcement mission. The US is behaving as a global police state, extending its own arbitrary legal decisions to the whole world.
