We can’t have Indy - the team that didn’t even tank when Paul George’s leg exploded - making us look bad! I mean we put none of their game on TV, but still!

Anyway, tune in to watch Wemby and the Spurs, Edwards and the T’Wolves, Chet and the Thunder, Brown and the Celtics, Cade and the Pistons…

Like just rig the lottery against us like you were gonna do anyway! Don’t bullshit showboat.

I am *livid* right now.

The NBA fined the Pacers - who’ve *literally* never tanked before and won their past two games - for not playing Siakam on a back-to-back . What an unserious fucking joke of a league.

Siakam has missed 4 of 55 games. LeBron hasn’t played 72 of 82 since 2017.

My least favorite thing is how mainstream sports broadcasts have basically incorrectly taught everyone that “analytics” is a synonym for “always go for the most aggressive thing.” Or perhaps more accurately, “anything decision I don’t like is analytics.” It’s the sports linguistic version of “woke.”

I was speaking more about TV commercials, but yes there were more celebs who'd only do print ads back in the day.
