wtf is a fortnight? how did I get here HELP!!!

I got a sudden burst of energy from recovering from a surgery, used the drive to get back into SF6 and get a new highest MR, prepped to play Mai, and then I got distracted by a hardcore Pokemon Black nuzlocke in which I keep losing and having to reset.

I once tried to finish the super hard Pokemon hack Renegade Platinum with 0 exp and no items in battle. I made it all the way to the elite four.
I even documented the absurd strategies I employed.
I think I could optimize it if I had the time but that's so much work

I spent like 2 hours grinding "My Curse" last night and when I got bored, I got this FC in 15 minutes.

First impression of the VF5 beta before I go to bed is that it's pretty good : )
I've made excuses on why I haven't before, but I want to really invest in learning VF. The best chance to do so is now after all.
Although, I'll have to see if my time permits that with everything else going on

Over the past year I've been slowly chipping away at a Full Game FC of Guitar Hero 3. A lot of these fcs aren't notably hard but I feel proud of them as a casual. Currently at 15/70 songs.

P!ATD ended up being my most listened to band for another year which is cool. I should've been into them far earlier.

Next year I have to make a concerted effort to diversify my tastes. i.e. delve into significantly more Japanese artists

The recent glitch is completely gamebreaking and it's good the WWs have been postponed. Although, I have to admit I kinda wanted to watch SF6 players turn on negative edge and try to piano their reversals like ST

I like ALL of the Cammy changes, they could've gone further tbh

I mean uhhhh Cammy gets nerfed and everyone celebrates but Rashid, Ken, and Akuma get off scott free when will misogyny end???!!!

I'm liking FF1 a lot more than I'd thought; I didn't intend to play any of them before FFVI. It's surprisingly focused, streamlined, yet varied for a 1987.
Ye olde FF charm is what's really compelling me. Uematsu drops bops, Amano's art's still impressive, and the writing holds up

I've been quite deep into my JRPG era so expect mostly that with occasional fighting game stuff
