I will gush love on each of my castmates at our talkback next week.

Our fellowship has meant so much to me. Thank you for taking me on this journey with you all.

I will carry this journey with me until the song ends and the stars fall.

And to play him again with our singular cast on The Fourth Age feels unreal.

When The Fourth Age began I was elated to see more of the world I love being explored and celebrated in new and interesting ways.

I was overcome when I was asked to join them for Book 2.

To play him for the first time on The Unsung Tales felt like an impossibly perfect experience with a fellowship that I will hold dear forever.

When that show ended, I held that story so close and went forward with it pressed into my heart.

I never thought it would happen again.

Playing him over the span of 4 years feels unreal.

I wish I could package him and send him back to my 14 year old self as the beacon of hope he becomes.

Not just hope within Middle-earth, but a light for me. That fellowship can happen when you least expect.

Good stories, good company, and hope.

He learned to grieve, what it means to really lead, and how to trust himself again when it matters most.

In the end, he was there when the free peoples and most specifically his home needed him because those who have loved him showed him the way.

Before the War of the Ring, he learned to love again. He learned purpose and that hope is the most precious of all things. A spark of hope grew.

After the war, he learned what it means to live and that merely remembering is sometimes not enough. To love is to live, to act, and to hope.

Aerlind is a vulnerable piece of my heart made manifest.

The nerd of two worlds who thought they had it all figured out until they opened their eyes and realized they never understood their world - and was afraid it was too late.

It was not too late, Aerlind of Mithlond.

It is never too late.
