I have never met anyone who loves Tolkien so much as @estelofimladris.bsky.social, and that love is no more evident than in Aerlind's portrayal.

Cai has utterly transformed our story in such beautiful, poignant ways since Book Two. That we get to close out said story alongside them means the world.

But at what cost? For even now, the Enemy's eye falls upon the fellowship and beyond, to Aerlind's home of Mithlond. Where the white ships sail forth towards the Undying Lands...

He wears smart, finely made elven robes and leather armour in shades of sea blues and greens. A bow is slung over his shoulder, and in his hand he carries a golden astrolabe. Returning as Aerlind is a dream. I really enjoyed running off the edge of the map with everyone last season.

They were challenged by the Palantir, the memory of Shadows before, and their own desire to for power that wells from grief. He must rise to the moment to help in this fight.
