Magpie (left) and Stellar's Jay (right) are my cats! They are a little over one (got them from the shelter at around 6ish months, less than a week after they got there from the foster).

Magpie is the squishy baby who wants pets and nibbles.

SJ is the crime gremlin who will fight god for fries.

So, my layman takeaway is the difference between the leaderships of the Mastodon and Bluesky projects is that Mastodon's doesn't understand what tools people want to prevent harassment, and Bluesky's understands exactly how to wield them to make sure that people get harassed.
