There's a dark triad for predatory scammer types: refusing to pay their bills; constantly name-dropping and social-climbing in pursuit of new marks; escalating depravity as if in an attempt to see if there's anything they can't get away with. The problem is that millions of Americans are like this.

To me, that crisis was Covid. And the fact that they still fought tooth and nail to not even entertain the idea of universal healthcare, for example, really highlighted to me how aggressively they guard this current “arrangement”
