Prongs! A little nod towards halla for fun, but mostly a reference to Ferion’s main reliance on tempest magic… he had quite a few mishaps of shocking his fellow allies when he started learning combat magic, plenty soldiers were shocked by the time the name stuck

I just love how long I’ve had Ferion as a character in my head. Getting into this series was a big motivator for me to improve in art and I love being able to look back 8+ years ago and see how Ferion was back then!

I just love how long I’ve had Ferion as a character in my head. Getting into this series was a big motivator for me to improve in art and I love being able to look back 8+ years ago and see how Ferion was back then!

I went into DAI with little to no clue about the lore, so Ferion Lavellan was a mishmash of randomly generated names that stuck lol. My main Rook, Abansaar, has more meaning as his name is a rough combination from the qunlat words ‘The Sea’ & ‘Dangerous thing’… my little pirate man.
