Make sure to copy that recording out. I had a voicemail I was deliberately saving and my carrier auto-deleted it after a couple months.

Hey, I recognize this quote.

They're confused and think they're assembling Dyson Ball vacuum cleaners?

No reform. Completely disbanded, defunded, stripped of all protections and "rights" as pseudo-Feds. Agents permanently stripped of their FOID cards and publicly outed for the thugs and criminals they are. All detainees returned home, and reparations to ALL victims alive or dead and their families.

I've also learned that keeping onions in the fridge helps prevent the release of whatever causes our eyes to water while cutting.

I haven't been listening to much FM radio lately so I missed this news. Sad day.

Young moms mean young grandmas. I'm 52 and a proud Oma to a 4 year old.

It's giving David Bowie vibes.

It's less damaging to the yarn if you make cakes and double wind. IOW, wind it first from the commercial skein, then put the cake on a spindle and re-wind to a new cake. Pulling from the original skein definitely has tension issues, but the rewind loosens that up. 🧶 #crochet #knit

GS troops don't go door to door here (it was actively banned during my time as a scout for safety reasons). I'm glad it's coming back (or never stopped) in some areas.

Also. For the other 11 months of the year.... Keebler. Seriously. One of the GS bakeries is owned by Keebler.

Not enough spray-on gold and filigree.

What. The actual. HELL. IS. THAT????? My brain cannot comprehend sub-freezing wind chills in Florida. You've clearly been slipped into another dimension or something.

Truly I missed this.

Oh that definitely does not look good. Please see a doctor and find out what's going on.

My body decided to be a bit precocious, but yeah, around 45 is when the cascading system failures become evident for a lot of us.

There were definitely fewer available in-person training sessions this year. I managed to get mine taken care of last weekend, and my trainer put in a recommendation for me to get approved for PPT training :D

I read this last year and really enjoyed it!

I don't remember the exact relationship, but when I was a kid my mom had a connection to one of the keepers at my local zoo. Siblings and I were able to pet porcupines and hedgehogs before they officially opened for the day. Definite highlight.

Ooh those are cute.

I've seen a lot of people making red hats with tassels - this is a popular pattern if you #knit and supports immigrant aid agencies. There's also a #crochet version linked on the same page 🧶https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/melt-the-ice-hat
Melt the ICE Hat pattern by YarnCultMN
In the 1940’s, Norwegians made and wore red pointed hats with a tassel as a form of visual protest against Nazi occupation of their country. Within two years, the Nazis made these protest hats illegal...

So I just discovered that if I delete a reply, the reply count on the original post doesn't change. So maybe that's what happened there?

Or, yeah, what @antifascistht.bsky.social said.

How long did it end up being and with what weight of yarn? I've been considering this for a while now but I don't know how wide to make it so that the proportions make sense. (deleted and reposted to edit spelling in a hashtag) #crochet #temperatureblanket 🧶
