While the video from northern Idaho is undoubtedly disturbing, what I’m most concerned about is that there were clearly other people around who supported her and did not help her. Lock arms with her. Block the door. Documenting is not enough. Physical engagement in these situations is also required.

Aside from it being inherently racist, the people demanding “merit based job opportunities” are not thinking through that so many people “earned” their jobs through nepotism or money, and are not actually qualified for or good at their jobs.
