In 21st century US politics, the two most important ongoing stories are:
1) The radicalization of the GOP, &
2) the degradation of the information environment, ie, the death of accountability journalism.

Neither gets a fraction of the attention devoted to, say, annoying woke undergrads.

Thanks for sharing this. I was sure you were going to point out how Trump and his administration pick fights against weak or powerless opponents, especially ones that will animate his base. Maybe that’s more of a behavior you get from a bully than a toddler, but it absolutely applies to Venezuela.

That sound like such an incomplete analysis. How can you assess polarization without addressing it?
