Ok, cool.

I misunderstood, I was confused, thinking they were selling library books.

Thanks.

I don't understand any of that.
January 22, 2026 at 8:19 PM
Its still the answer!
January 22, 2026 at 7:41 PM
I take no joy in it, I just think winning is what matters. Otherwise its just a self righteous bunch of loosers feeling good, but delivering nothing.

You will never be OK until you engage in constitutional reform. Its ossified beyond belief.

You need to legislate for constitutional referendum by public national vote. Like we have. We don't have any of these issues, nor a political supreme court.

1st ever movie I watched on DVD....

Thats a list!

Did they all pay the billion!?
January 22, 2026 at 7:06 PM
I think Michael O'Leary (Ryanair) is one of our greatest Irish men, but I'm not sycophantic about it!

After his press conference yesterday, the gush from the Musk mob in the comments was just crazy! Don't dare criticise! It was so sad.
January 22, 2026 at 7:02 PM
Agreed. Never let perfect get in the way of better!

But political parties need to get on board too. Stop practicing democracy and start protecting it!

In other words, find a str8 white man with a nice wife and put him up as the next Dem candidate.

Deal with *why* he'd win when youre in power..
January 22, 2026 at 6:42 PM
As I said, I don't wish them ill. I'm neutral. What you said plays a part, of course people need and want to work.

But feeling sorry? No.
January 22, 2026 at 6:38 PM
Libraries sell books?

Weekly!?
January 22, 2026 at 6:34 PM
Thats the answer is it? You need to get people back on board and build your country. People need somewhere to go, closing that door doesn't make things better.

It's tough, but its the way.

Which speaks to the Greenland mess. Saying you need Greenland, (which has geo political merit) while not dealing with Putin in Ukraine is a contradiction.

Greenland is a mineral wealth grift.

He is entirely transactional. Like all business 'men' he is also totally amoral.

He also has the extra special sauce of his peacock ego...
January 22, 2026 at 6:27 PM
I agree with your 1st statement entirely. In Ireland we operate PR-STV, which I am a huge fan of.

But my point was, thats not how people behave. They stay at home. The bad wins. That IS what happened. So the Dems strategy was demonstrably, proveably wrong

He will rename it Bejams!
January 22, 2026 at 5:51 PM
He hates liberal Califonians I believe?

Dollywood next then?
January 22, 2026 at 5:49 PM
Hence the F-150 and its ilk just don't exist here!
January 22, 2026 at 5:48 PM
Modifying a Ford F-150 to meet European road-legal standards costs €8k and €15k. This cost covers necessary technical modifications and certification, but does not include shipping, import duties, or potential VAT, which brings the total cost of importing an F-150 in Europe to over €80,000–€100,000

We're up to a day a week now, moving to 2 days a week from March.

We had an incident today, managed entirely on Teams, half ppl in office, half remote. Being in an office didn't bring a single benefit!

Biden was a car crash.

Even as President of Ireland he'd have been viewed as dozy.

(fyi, The President of Ireland is an elected ceremonial, non executive role)

We're talking about a group of people who view footpaths as additional parking aided and abetted by AGS who see basic BSU law enforcement as beneath them.
