I’m so glad my brother never threw this out and gave it back to me a few years ago (and prompted a flood of amazing gaming memories as soon as I saw it again for the first time in years). What an amazing, magical time 🤩

I spent days cutting and pasting various photos and ads I found in magazines and catalogs. The letters and borders are falling apart but you can get the idea

Listen, I know SimCity 2013 didn't live up to expectations (I liked the multiplayer features, but I didn't love the always-online requirement or city size limit)...
But we can at least all agree that @christilton.bsky.social nailed the soundtrack. It's still my go-to for when I need to work.

Moving my Friendica instance to be self-hosted is one of the more intense sysadmin-esque things I've done in awhile, but man do I love this platform.
