Software 2.0 relies on validation

If your code base doesn’t have verification & controls that are as good or better than your senior dev, you’ll get slop

Had been looking forward, but goodness, the FM26 UI is terrible. Cluttered, and key elements bafflingly buried.
At least make the tiles customisable so we can remove the duplicated junk.

The fallout from the fact that data science/classical machine learning & generative AI are both called "AI" has been remarkably broad & persistent

Policy addresses the wrong harms, companies have been confused about who should lead efforts, hiring is misguided, academic discussion is often muddled.

Superb starter for the season.
A big tour through some key storylines for Arsenal's upcoming season, including Zubimendi's impact on the midfield, Heinze’s influence in attack, summer business, tactics, analytics, and Arteta’s plan to "change the puzzle."

Also ran an "OPPO" report on us. Enjoy. ❤️

Recently I’ve been asked to talk at several AGMs/Boards on building AI orientated firms. Here I’ve tried to share my lessons learnt and reflect upon how what’s important has evolved.

Observations on the necessary talent, patterns-of-play, and compounding acumen required to build high performance teams. And it’s impact on active investment.

In hindsight, not sure precision is actually the right word.

Human cartography, you all know how I love a good map.
I wonder if/how this changes the rules of generalisation.

Good conversation also wins.

Data, sport, OODA loops, private equity, active co-sponsorship, machine learning, high performance teams, Arsenal, loops not lines.
